Has the GOP hit rock-bottom with its 'War on the Girl Scouts'?

It all started with “They want to stick a probe, where?” and quickly digressed to “Well of course you should have to get permission from your boss to get birth control.”  Why the Republican’s have unveiled their true nature and intentions before the election is still a mystery, but much appreciated.

Below is a an excerpt of an Indiana Republican accusing the Girl Scouts, yes the Girl Scouts, of horrible anti-American and devient behavior:

By SARA DOVER International Business Times:  Republican Rep. Bob Morris of Indiana is refusing to support a resolution celebrating Girl Scouts 100^th anniversary, accusing the organization “sexualizing young girls” and teaching scouts to be pro-abortion through a partnership with Planned Parenthood.

According to a letter to the Indiana House, the Fort Wayne Republican said he was disturbed by what he found online about the Girl Scouts of America and its worldwide partner, from its acceptance of transgender scouts, education seminars about sex and what he calls its “liberal agenda.”

“Many parents are abandoning the Girl Scouts because they promote homosexual lifestyles. In fact, the Girl Scouts education seminar girls are directed to the example of role models,” writes Rep. Morris. “Of the fifty role models listed, only three have a briefly-mentioned religious background-all the rest are feminists, lesbians, or Communists.”

Communists? Really?  You forgot ‘leftist’ and ‘marxist’ you tea party moron. People like you should really love America, but perhaps not for the reason that you think.  In what other country in the world could you be this dumb and still be able to hold a job and feed your family?  The Republican party has become an welfare agency that supports the chronically ignorant.

Can they go any lower? I have a really dry, sometimes cynical sense of humor and I am drawing a blank.  What’s next – Grandma? Nope, already did that on Thursday with the introduction of the ‘Medicare Sunset’ plan. “Now Grandma, this is called a voucher….”  Children? Well, if you have to explain to your daughter why she is not getting her Brownie patch because she didn’t sell enough cookies, I guess you can say that war has already begun.  Immigrants? Voluntary deportation, sorry, I forgot about that one.  Pets?  Nope, no war on animals yet – guess that is something – however, do you really think Rush Limbaugh brakes for animals?  I don’t think so.

If you were to suggest an attack on the Girl Scouts several months ago, I would have laughed, but when I heard this news it kind of made sense, given the woman theme.  In any case, unless you want to live in a country where Republican politicians tell you what clothes to wear in the morning and with whom (and how) to have sex, I’d suggest voting these jokers out of office until they remember who they are and where they live.
